Vedic Rounding Workshop
KORORA - COFFS COAST, NSW
Ready to go deeper?
Your twice-daily meditation gives your mind and body an opportunity to rest, release stress and return to greater balance.
Rounding builds upon this familiar practice, combining gentle movement, breathwork, meditation and rest to create an even deeper inward experience.
This small-group workshop offers the rare opportunity to step away from the demands of everyday life and spend a day nourishing your nervous system, deepening your practice and reconnecting with yourself.
This is for anyone who has learned Vedic Meditation or Transcendental Meditation. Whether you are completely new to rounding or have practised many times before, you are warmly invited to join.

What is Vedic Rounding?
Rounding is a traditional Vedic practice that prepares the body and mind for a deeper meditation through a simple sequence of:
Approximately 20 minutes of gentle asana
5 minutes of pranayama breathing
20 minutes of meditation
10 minutes of savasana and complete rest
Together, these four elements form one complete ‘round’.
The asanas are slow, gentle and floor-based - more like restful yin-style stretches than a physical yoga class. You do not need to be flexible or have any previous yoga experience.
Nothing is forced. Each stage naturally prepares you for the next, allowing the body to soften, the breath to settle and the mind to move more easily into meditation.
Rounding is sometimes described as turbo-charged meditation - not because we push or strive for an experience, but because it creates the conditions for a more concentrated period of rest, release and rejuvenation.
What we’ll experience together
Throughout the day, we will move through four complete rounds, with a nourishing refreshment break halfway between practices.
As each round builds upon the last, you may find yourself settling progressively more deeply - releasing accumulated fatigue, stepping beyond the constant momentum of daily life and allowing yourself the space to simply be.
The day will include:
Clear instruction in the current Vedic Rounding sequence
Four gently guided rounds
Time to ask questions and refine your practice
Guidance on incorporating rounding into your life at home
Light refreshments
Connection with a warm, supportive Vedic meditation community
There is something particularly powerful about rounding together. While the experience remains deeply personal, practising within a small group creates a beautiful sense of shared intention, connection and support.
This workshop is for you if…
You have learned Vedic Meditation or Transcendental Meditation and would like to learn how to round
You already know the practice but would value a refresher or supported immersion
Your days have felt particularly full, demanding or non-stop
You would like another practical way to support the release of accumulated stress and fatigue
You have explored yoga or breathwork but are unsure how to integrate them with your meditation
You feel ready to deepen your practice and spend meaningful time turning inward
You do not need to have rounded before. Once you have learned the sequence, you will be able to continue using the practice at home whenever you feel called to go deeper.
“The thing about meditation is you become more and more you”
— David Lynch
